Field work in progress at Valongo !

This week, AUREOLE members from FCUP and ISTO-BRGM are doing fieldwork in the region of Valongo (Portugal). The images show exploration work at the bottom of Carboniferous (west of the Valongo syncline) and Neoproterozoic schists and grauwackes under the Carboniferous unconformity.
